6/8/2010 Volume XII Update.
With a thesis now done and dusted, it is time for the editors to turn to Volume XII in earnest. Articles are being edited as we speak, and are proving an excellent read. Our book reviewers have also submitted and given great reviews on a number of interesting, recently published volumes. Progress has also been made in relation to our 'reflections' section. We are delighted to reveal that the esteemed prehistorian Dr. Elizabeth Twohig has kindly contributed a piece, as has the renowned poet, Seamus Heaney.
With the varied selection of articles, a wonderful 'reflections' section and the high quality book reviews, Volume XII really does promise to be an exciting publication. For more detailed updates on the volume, sign up to our mailing list!

Volume XII Update
As stated above, the articles for Vol. XII have been selected. We are now concentrating on funding the hardcopy publication of the journal. We have been offered sponsership from the OPW and UCD School of Archaeology. We also aim to host fundraising nights in UCD (a music night and a table quiz) in order to raise the required amount for publication. Spot prizes will be required for the table quiz, so any offers or donations will be greatfully accepted!
There will be a book review section in the journal, so if you are interested in reviewing a book or have been impressed by a recent publication, let us know!
To make sure you are up to date, please sign up for our mailing list.
The editors wish to thank Irene Carroll who has designed the new logo for Trowel XII.
